Office Administrator

 

The Office Administrator coordinates administrative and business operations efforts in the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research (OSVCR). Responsibilities include providing administrative support to members of the OSVCR leadership team, coordinating meetings and large scale events, coordinating annual awards programs and special funding initiatives, coordinating committee meetings and materials, serving as the liaison with internal and external organizations to arrange for services, assisting with annual compliance requirements, coordinating travel arrangements, reconciling expenses, preparing and maintaining basic financial reports, and processing purchase orders and contracts. Also serves as a backup to the Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice Chancellor and assists with ad hoc administrative requests and special projects throughout the year.

Job Summary
Supports senior level roles in a wide variety of complex administrative and office functions as well as specialized technical support for academic or administrative departments.

Essential FunctionsMust be able to use a computer and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Physical EffortLight physical effort, mostly sedentary. Will travel across campus to attend meetings.
