Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, tenure track Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship faculty position in the Michael A. Leven School of Management, Entrepreneurship and Hospitality, beginning August 2023. The successful candidate will engage in quality scholarly activity consistent with AACSB accreditation requirements and teach nine credit hours per semester, which may include undergraduate and graduate courses in entrepreneurship, strategic management, and general management. Candidates will also be expected to provide service to the university and the wider community, particularly in support of extra-curricular entrepreneurial activities. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Applicants must have an earned a Ph.D. or doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in Management or Business Administration, or a related field (ABD near completion will be considered but must be conferred by August 1, 2023). In addition, candidates should have demonstrated research
capabilities and strong teaching effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will have graduate training in entrepreneurship and a demonstrated record of accomplishment in high-quality teaching, research, and service in entrepreneurship. Previous entrepreneurial experience, competency in experiential learning, and familiarity with hybrid and online teaching modalities would also be advantageous.
