Elaine Mareb College of Nursing is Hiring

UMass Amherst is hiring faculty to teach the nurses of the future and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programming in the College of Nursing.

Tenure Track Joint Hire with Applied Life Sciences:

Full-time, 9-month, Assistant/Associate/Full Professor to work among a diverse and growing team of innovators and inventors, clinical researchers, engineers, and basic scientists in a state-of-the-art interdisciplinary research institute. Applicants must have a history of research and demonstrate working knowledge of team science, nursing ethics, nursing theory, and the state of the discipline. Preference given to candidates with record of nurse-led innovation, able to articulate plans for externally-fundable program of research.

Tenure Track Faculty

Full-time, 9-month, Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. Successful candidate will have a program of research focused in one of three broad areas: innovation and technology for health, including nursing education; psychosocial consequences of health and wellness; or self-management of chronic conditions.

Graduate Clinical Placement Coordinator

Full-time, 12-month, Graduate Clinical Placement Coordinator with a BS in Nursing.  Under the general direction of the Doctor of Nursing Practice program director, this faculty member will find new clinical placement locations and maintain existing locations for our graduate students in the Advanced Practice Family, Psychiatric, Public Health, and master’s programs.
