Salary range: The salary range for this position is $173,000-$263,000. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation plan.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time faculty member in the Professor of Clinical X series at the Associate Professor rank. Faculty in the Clinical X series are expected to engage in professional competence and activity, teaching, research and creative work, and University/public service.

The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to quality patient care, medical education, infection control, and research. They will have training in academic pursuits, be dedicated to continued scholarship, and bring strong interpersonal skills and a history of collaborating across a broad range of medical specialties. Successful candidates will see patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)
Applicants must have M.D. and/or D.O. degree,
Must have research experience in epidemiology
Must have strong clinical skills in HIV care and the management of Infectious Diseases.
Experience in teaching and supervising medical students, residents and fellows is required.
Additional qualifications (required at time of start)
Be Board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine, and in Infectious Diseases
Be eligible for medical licensure in the State of California.
