Job Description
The Department of Community Health invites applications for several part-time faculty positions in community/public health at the rank of Lecturer. Positions are for a 1-semester or 1-year initial contract with possibility of renewal and are included in the Collective Bargaining Agreement for part-time lecturers (Service Employees International Union). We are interested in candidates with teaching expertise in any of the following areas: global health, biostatistics, epidemiology, gender and health, reproductive health, adolescent health, or environment/climate and one health. A listing of our curricular offerings is available at https://ase.tufts.edu/commhealth/courses/. Faculty could teach between 1 and 3 courses depending on areas of expertise.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a doctoral degree (or ABD) in community health, public health, global health, or a related health field. University level teaching experience with undergraduates is strongly preferred. A successful candidate will demonstrate a clear commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level working with a diverse student population
