Job Description:
The Accreditation Coordinator/Program Advisor (AC/PA) will be responsible for coordinating the accreditation process and will also advise program students. The AC portion of the position will manage the current accreditation (MSDE), which will be transitioning to a national accreditation in the near future. This position is responsible for the completion of accreditation and reaccreditation management and will work with Graduate Programs in Education and the Institutional Research Office to manage all state, federal, and national requirements for accreditation. The PA portion of the position will require advising students in the graduate programs for course selection and registration, as well as program requirements for completion. MAT licensure and certification data are reported to agencies, so the advising in the position will inform the accreditation coordination.
Essential Job Functions:
· 20 % A. Manage state and national accreditation for the Undergraduate Education Program (U.E.P.), and the Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Master of Art in Teaching (M.A.T.) graduate programs to include all paperwork, deadlines, and logistics for site visits. Ensure compliance with requirements by conducting an annual review and training of faculty and staff.
· 20% B. Compile outcomes assessment data reports with the Institutional Research Office for accreditation reporting for the U.E.P., M.Ed., and M.A.T. programs. Collect and report Professional Development School (PDS) data analysis.
· 10% C. Compile outcomes assessment data reports for MSDE (and then national accreditation) for all programs in collaboration with Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
· 45% D. Advise students in the Graduate Programs in Education for program choice, class selection, and registration, and certification and licensure requirements.
· Non-Essential Functions:

Education:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in education
Preferred: Master’s degree in education.
Professional Experience:
Required: Three years experience in some combination that includes both state or national Educator Preparation Program (EPP) accreditation (MSDE, AAQEP, CAEP, etc.) or institutional accreditation and advising in a higher education setting.
Preferred: Five years experience in some combination that includes both state or national Educator Preparation Program (EPP) accreditation (MSDE, AAQEP, CAEP, etc.) or institutional accreditation and advising in a higher education setting.
Pay Range:
$51,000.00-$60,000.00
