Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor – Division of Infectious Diseases

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, is currently recruiting for a 90% faculty position in the Health Sciences Clinical series at the rank of Assistant Professor. Appointees to the Health Sciences Clinical series are required to teach, participate in university service, provide direct patient care, and engage in creative work. Will work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.

This recruitment is conducted at the assistant rank. The resulting hire will be at the assistant rank, regardless of the proposed appointee’s qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS
Basic qualifications (required at time of application)Applicants must have M.D. degree,
Candidates must have experience in HIV care, TB care, and strong clinical skills in the management of Infectious Diseases.
Previous experience in teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows is required.
Additional qualifications (required at time of start)Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Board Certified/Board eligible in Infectious Diseases, and be eligible for medical licensure in the State of California.
