The Curriculum/Trainer Development Department Manager is responsible for the leadership, oversight, and strategic direction of the Department. The Department Manager serves as a member of the Pennsylvania Child Welfare Resource Center’s (Resource Center) Executive team, which provides overall leadership and direction to the Resource Center. The Department Manager is responsible for the direct supervision of Unit Supervisors and a curriculum and marketing specialist position. Current Unit areas include Curriculum Development, Trainer/Instructor Development, and Simulation training.

Master’s degree in Social Work or related field required. LSW/LCSW preferred.

Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience required. Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the supervision and/or demonstrated management experience is strongly preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, writing, collaboration, problem solving, planning/organizing, facilitation, and management skills required. Must have competency in curriculum instructional design, adult education, and evaluation.

Must be able to travel long distances as necessary, most commonly within Pennsylvania.

PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required as a condition of employment.
