One Non-Tenure Track Faculty Position in Marketing
The Department of Marketing in the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst
(https://www.isenberg.umass.edu/programs/depts/marketing) is seeking applications for a full-time, non-tenure track lecturer. The lecturer will be expected to teach our introductory
undergraduate Fundamentals of Marketing class (200-500 students) as well as additional
electives. In addition to teaching, the position requires service to the department as noted in the
requirements below. The appointment is expected to begin September 1, 2024.
Candidates are expected to hold an MBA or Masters in Marketing or a related field, (expected to
be) earned by August 31, 2024. Ideal candidates will have (1) meaningful industry experience in marketing; (2) teaching experience or evidence of expertise in teaching, especially for introductory marketing; (3) evidence of engagement with the business community and industry; (4) interest in, and ability to, develop programs to strengthen alumni and industry relationships and/or the student experience; and (5) the potential to make positive contributions to the Marketing Department, Isenberg School, and University communities.
