The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC) is seeking a full-time faculty trained as a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) specialist.  The Department is seeking an additional faculty to provide clinical care to patients referred for uro-gynecological conditions. Presently the Department has two faculty and an advance practice provider in its clinical practice.  An additional faculty will create an opportunity to apply for a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship training program.

 

Duties:

 

Clinical responsibilities include providing the full spectrum of diagnostic, clinical evaluation and management, and surgical procedures for uro-gynecologic conditions.  This person will also provide teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows and mentor medical students, residents, and other faculty on clinical skills and research projects.

 

Qualifications:

·         Candidate must have MD degree, or equivalent.

·         Must be eligible for unrestricted medical license in Illinois.

·         Must be Board Certified / Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, or equivalent.
