VISITING LECTURER IN DATA SCIENCE
SPRING SEMESTER 2024

Scripps College, a women’s liberal arts college with a strong interdisciplinary tradition, invites applications for the position of part-time Visiting Lecturer in the interdisciplinary Data Science Minor at Scripps College. The successful candidate will teach one course, PSYC 183: Data Science Ethics & Justice, during spring semester 2024.

Ph.D. and evidence of effective teaching are required. Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications to teach the course, which usually covers several ethical systems and applies them to current and developing societal concerns regarding data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The salary for this position is $9,000.
