Preference will be given to candidates who will involve undergraduates in their research, will seek extramural grant funding, and can teach some of the following courses: Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, Behavioral Neuroscience, Essentials of Neuroscience, Human Neuroscience, and/or Drugs & Behavior, as well as courses in their area of expertise.

The teaching load is 4/4, however, tenure track faculty are automatically eligible for a 4/3 load.

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
College level teaching experience.

The successful candidate will actively promote a collegial environment and consciously apply our mission and values to create a culture of inclusion and belonging; a safe space where all may thrive and succeed. They will also participate in developmental activities to increase understanding and awareness of issues related to diversity, equity and inclusion and then apply that understanding to guide their approach to all aspects of their job and the community as a whole. They will demonstrate that we are “Stronger Together” as described in the Office for Diversity & Inclusion’s Mission and Vision statements.

Application Instructions:

Qualified candidates should submit: 1) letter of interest, 2) curriculum vitae, 3) statement of teaching philosophy, 4) statement of research program, 5) copies of graduate transcripts, 6) examples of syllabi from courses taught (if available).  Three current letters of recommendation will be required if you are selected for a screening interview.  Please provide accurate contact information when prompted.  Electronic submission of application materials online only.
