VISITING PROFESSOR POSITION(S) IN CHEMISTRY: PHYSICAL AND GENERAL CHEMISTRY
The Department of Natural Sciences of Pitzer and Scripps Colleges
The Chemistry Program of Scripps and Pitzer Colleges seeks to hire one or two visiting professors to teach in our physical and general chemistry sequences. The position would begin in August 2024. Opportunities to direct undergraduate research projects are also possible. This position is a full-time, one-year appointment with the potential for renewal. Rank will be either Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Professor, depending on experience. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in physical chemistry or a related field before starting the position; prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.

The salary for this position will range from $73,000-$87,000 and will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
