Research Associate or Research Assistant Professor (Non-Tenure Track, F0778A1)

This position supports the mission of the Center by designing and conducting sponsored research, evaluation, intervention and/or professional development activities, and by contributing to the development and execution of externally funded proposals and projects.

Minimum Qualifications – knowledge, skills, and abilities

• Knowledge of contemporary issues and trends of significance to pre K-16 education in formal and/or informal settings.
• Five or more years of experience working in higher education or K-12 settings is required.
• Ability to manage programs of educational research, evaluation, or intervention.
• Ability to use data analysis software programs including SPSS, Excel, and/or NViVo.

Minimum Qualifications – Education or training

• For Research Assistant Professor, an earned doctorate in education or social sciences is required.
• For Research Associate, a Master’s degree in education or social sciences is required.

Preferred Qualifications: A current Virginia teacher or administrator license is preferred.
