Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track Lecturer of Finance faculty position in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis that begins January 2023.

Responsibilities

• Teaching at the undergraduate level
• Performing meaningful service for the department and profession
• The position will also require some research output (though not necessarily in peer reviewed journals) consistent with AACSB standards.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• An earned Master’s, or the foreign equivalent, in a discipline related to Finance or Economics or a closely related field.

OR

• An earned master’s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in teaching finance classes to undergraduates.

• Two writing samples in finance (e.g., papers, newspaper/magazine articles, interview transcripts, etc.)

Two professional letters of recommendation may be requested for each applicant chosen as finalist for the position.
