Postdoctoral Associate, Environmental Health Sciences Laboratory

 

A Postdoctoral position is available within the department of Environmental Health Sciences, and under the supervision of Dr. Guilarte, for a highly motivated candidate to perform work related to the impact of early life lead exposure and psychiatric disease.  This postdoctoral position is available because of a new NIEHS funded 5-year grant entitled” Neurobiology of Lead Exposure and Risk of Psychiatric Disease”.  This position is for 2 years and can be extended based on performance. Dr. Guilarte directs the Brain, Behavior & the Environment program and is professor in the department of Environmental Health Sciences at the Robert Stempel College of Public Health & Social Work at Florida International University in Miami, Florida.

 

Requirements:  PhD in Neurotoxicology or Neuroscience with interest in the role of environmental toxicants in neurodevelopmental disorders.
