Job Description

The Division of Behavioral and Organization Sciences at Claremont Graduate University is seeking to fill a tenure track faculty position with a scholar with a strong quantitative methods background and interest in and experience teaching a wide range of graduate statistics courses. The candidate’s research should contribute to one or more of our programs including Applied Cognitive Psychology, Applied Social Psychology, Evaluation and Applied Research Methods, Organizational Behavior, Positive Organizational Psychology, or Positive Developmental Psychology. The faculty member will be expected to supervise graduate student research, and support our mission of valuing both basic and applied innovative research that transcends disciplinary boundaries.

This position is rank-open; we especially encourage more experienced scholars to apply. Candidates must have a strong record of research publications and outstanding teaching and mentoring skills. The successful candidate also will demonstrate experience and/or capacity for advising a diverse student body.

The city of Claremont is a charming small town located 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles and less than 50 miles from Southern California beaches. CGU is a member of The Claremont Colleges, a highly regarded cluster of seven independent colleges. Across the Claremont Colleges there are more than 50 Extended faculty who contribute to the graduate programs in DBOS.
